macOS 26, Intel-Macs, Liquid Glass
Status December 2025
macOS 26
There are currently no known issues regarding Yasla with macOS 26 Tahoe.1
Intel-Macs
Unlike Apple, I currently have no plans to discontinue support for Intel Macs. As long as it is technically feasible and supported by the development tools, up-to-date versions of Yasla will continue to be available for Intel Macs.
“Liquid Glass”
With its x-26 operating systems, Apple is introducing a new look for the user interface with simulated glass elements, usually referred to as “liquid glass.” However, Apple seems to be focusing mainly on iOS; in macOS, this is still immature and, especially in professional applications, impairs usability. Until this is improved, Yasla will continue to use the current interface style.

Please do not take this as a recommendation to switch to macOS 26 immediately after it becomes generally available. If possible, I recommend waiting until version .3 or .4 is released. ↩
